Eligible North Carolina residents can use same-day registration to register to vote and cast their ballot on the same day.
To do same-day registration, residents will need to provide a current ID and documents that prove residency, like a piece of mail, a pay stub, or a similar document.
You must have lived in the county where you are trying to vote for at least 30 days in order to use same-day registration.
