New Logo for Quail Hollow Championship

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Not only does the Charlotte PGA Tour Tournament have a new name, but it now has a new logo. The logo for the upcoming Quail Hollow Championship is now a copper and navy blue "Q", with a feather from a Bobwhite Quail. Even with a new name, don't expect much to change at one of the most popular tour stops on the PGA. Tournament officials expect the tourney to continue through 2014. The 2009 Quail Hollow Championship will take place April 27th-May 3rd. Some of the players already committed to play are 2008 champ Anthony Kim, 2006 champ Jim Furyk, the 19th ranked player in the world-- Adam Scott, and crowd favorite Boo Weekley.
