Crest reaches 5A Western Regional Final with 28-14 win over South Point

BELMONT, N.C. (WBTV) - South Point only lost three games in the 2025 season.
Two of those came against the Crest Chargers.
After winning the regular season matchup 42-7, Crest handled the Red Raiders 28-14 in the 5A Western Regional Semifinals Friday night.
The Chargers are now heading to the Regional Final for the 15th time in program history, and the first since 2015.
Crest will head to Hickory to face the Red Tornadoes for a trip to the state championship.
