Pig caught by police outside Union County high school: ‘A ham-burglar’

MONROE, N.C. (WBTV) - A hog was caught outside a Union County high school on Monday, police shared on Facebook.

The pig was safely captured on Monday, May 5, near Monroe High School.

Police joked that the hog was “trying to break into” the school.

“He was a ham-burglar!” the department wrote.

Officers said they moved the big fella to the Union County Animal Shelter, where he awaits his owner.
