Lifeguard shortage could delay Union County beach opening

CATS tweeted that there are 88 bus driver absences and riders should “expect intermittent delays on CATS bus routes.”

Two officers are believed to have shot at the suspect and will be placed on a leave of absence while the preliminary investigation is underway.

The most recent delays were Sunday when the public transit service had 56 drivers absent.

Despite high gas prices, many are planning to drive.
