A robber murdered two victims at the SunDrop bottling plant in Concord Friday morning.

Co-workers described grandmother Donna Barnhardt as the best secretary one could ask for.   Many of them said Barnhardt would do anything to help others.  She was an employee with SunDrop for 18 years.

She and Darrell Wayne Noles were in the office building when they were shot.

WBTV has learned that Noles' wife was waiting for him in their car when the shooting happened.

Noles had been laid off from his previous job and was trying to get a new one.  His son-in-law says he was the head of the choir at Bright Light Baptist Church.

He was a grandparent and described as a guy who would give you the shirt off his back.

It appears all the robber wanted was money from the safe.  Now, many are wondering why he had to kill two innocent victims for such a small amount of cash.
