As students head to their second day of class today, parents are outraged after a Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools bus carrying elementary school students was more than three hours late.  We'll have details of what happened and what's being done now in a LIVE report from Micah Smith.

Police are looking for two people who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in Charlotte's Myers Park neighborhood.

A man arrested in connection to a deadly hit-and-run in northeast Charlotte is scheduled to appear in court today.  Also, two men facing murder charges in the shooting death of a woman in southwest Charlotte are also due in court today.

Police are looking for a person who pulled up next to a car on I-85 in north Charlotte and opened fire.

Thousands are expected to pour into Detroit's Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History today and tomorrow to pay their final respects to Aretha Franklin.
