Good morning. It's Christine Sperow. Today is Friday, August 17. Here is a first look at the stories we're following now on WBTV News This Morning. Let's get the morning started together!

Tonight the Carolina Panther will take the field for the preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. Tonight's game is significant. It's the first home game for the Panthers under new ownership.

So many of you have been following the story out of Colorado where a pregnant woman and her daughters went missing. Authorities say they found what they believe are all three of their bodies. We also have details on what happened when the husband, who's accused of their murders, appeared in court.

This morning parents are frustrated they weren't notified about the water issues at some Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools until months later after the problems were fixed. WBTV's Caroline Hicks will have a live report with details after we asked if procedures were properly followed when notifying parents.
