Knights two big innings lead them to 9-4 victory over Louisville Thursday

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Minor league action at BB&T Ballpark Thursday with the Knights hosting Louisville.

White Sox top pitching prospect Michael Kopech was sterling on the mound going six innings giving up only one run on seven hits with nine strikeouts.

Meanwhile the home team put on an offensive explosion with two big innings scoring six runs in the 4th and three more in the 8th.

The 4th inning was the biggie with Matt Skole hitting his 13th home run of the season and Jose Rondon with his 18th of the year for the Knights.

Knights won big 9-4.

Same teams play tomorrow at 12:05 p.m. to avoid conflict with the Panthers 7:30 p.m. game at Bank of America Stadium.
