Hundreds are still without power in Gaston and Lincoln counties this morning following those severe storms that came through the area.  We'll have more on the power outages and the clean up that is underway.

Sad news to report this morning.  A 17-month-old seriously injured in a wreck in Burke County earlier this week has passed away.

The Carolina Panthers are coming home with a win!  The Panthers beat the Buffalo Bills in their first game of the preseason.  Also…Cam Newton and former teammate Kelvin Benjamin met on the field before the game…and it didn't appear to be the friendliest meeting!
