ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - The man who was killed in a crash on Sherrills Ford Road in western Rowan County on Thursday has been identified as Vincent Ryan Dziubczynski, 22, of China Grove.
The wreck, which involved a car and a tractor-trailer, happened around 4 p.m. on the 7600 block of Sherrills Ford Road, near Second Creek and Long Branch Road. Firefighters said it appeared the 22-year-old driver of the car crossed the center line and struck the tractor-trailer head-on.

"He never met a stranger, was a kind soul, and liked to cook, go fishing, collecting anything old or odd. He was adventurous and enjoyed reading, learning new things. He was a good man who was loved by so many. He had a good heart," the obituary says.
Visitation will be on Sunday night from 6 until 8 p.m., at Landis Funeral Home in Landis, with funeral on Monday at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
