CONCORD, NC (Katherine Peralta/The Charlotte Observer) - Kate Spade is opening an outlet soon at Concord Mills.
The upscale designer, which sells women's clothing and accessories, will be across from H&M, according to the Concord Mills website. The outlet is expected to open Sept. 1.
Kate Spade has over 80 retail shops and outlet stores across the U.S. Elsewhere in Charlotte, the designer has a store at SouthPark mall and an outlet at Charlotte Premium Outlets.
Concord Mills, the largest outlet mall in the state, is in the midst of an exterior renovation project that's expected to wrap up in August. The project, which comes after a number of interior upgrades last year, includes new LED lighting at the mall's exterior entrances, upgraded directional and entry signage and new landscaping.
Amid the renovations, Concord Mills has added a number of new outlets in recent months, including True Religion, Asics and a women's boutique called Dazzle Up.
