Good morning everyone. It's Christine Sperow. Hope you had a good weekend! Today is Monday, June 25. Here is a first look at the stories we're following now on WBTV News This Morning. Let's get the morning started together!

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Police are searching for whoever is responsible for shooting someone in their car overnight. It happened on Swearngan Road in northwest Charlotte. WBTV's Caroline Hicks has been on the scene getting questions answered. She'll have a live report right at 5 a.m.

TODAY: In just a few hours Air Force One will touch down in South Carolina as President Donald Trump pays a special visit to lend his support ahead of the Republican gubernatorial runoff election.

A weekend outing on the boat turned deadly on Lake Wylie. Police say four people were on a boat at a sandbar near Nine Eagles Lane when 62 year old, Victor Wiggins, either jumped or fell into the water. We'll tell you what authorities have concluded in this case.

The North Carolina House is expected to vote on a bill that could eventually lead to people having to provide a photo ID when they vote.

SAD UPDATE: Providence Day School says student Deven Sawyer died from injuries after a bus crash a week ago in Argentina. We have been covering the crash since it happened and we received this update in the last 24 hours.
