CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - If you're the type of person who nerds out over cool stuff, this story is for you.
After bearing 90-plus degree heat all week, Friday morning, we decided to chill.
And no better place to do that than Zippy Ice in Charlotte.
The plant can produce 40 tons of ice a day and when the temperature gets over 95 degrees, their sales triple.
