Charlotte City Council has given final approval to a budget that will raise your taxes.  It will also provide pay raises to police officers…and more money for affordable housing.  Plus…$32 million was approved to renovate Memorial Stadium.  Caroline Hicks will be LIVE with complete details of what you can expect from the budget.

Meanwhile, the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners will meet this morning to review the county manager’s budget proposal.  That budget also calls for a tax increase.

The Federal Reserve is poised to raise interest rates tomorrow.  That would come at the end of the Feds two-day policy meeting that starts today.
