Man wanted in Hickory convenience store robbery

HICKORY, NC (WBTV) - A man is wanted for robbing a Hickory convenience store Thursday night.

Hickory police say a man went into the Top Express in 16th St NE around 9:10 p.m. and robbed the place at gunpoint. The clerk says the robber took the money and left.

The robber is described as a white man around 5'6" with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray and black shirt with a hooded sweater underneath, black pants, black shoes, and a black and red bandana across his face. He also has a tattoo on his right hand.
