SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - Two women were being treated at the scene for injuries after an accident in which their car turned over and caught fire.

It happened around 2:00 pm on Miller Chapel Road west of Salisbury.

Witnesses said the car flipped in the curve and turned on its side.

The two women being treated did not appear to have life threatening injuries, according to witnesses.

The car's interior was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters from the Locke Volunteer Fire Department first arrived.
