Concord auto repair building fire under investigation

CONCORD, N.C. (WBTV) - An auto repair building in Concord caught fire Tuesday night.

Multiple callers reported the fire to the Concord Fire Department, saying they could "see a lot of black smoke" coming from the building located on Crowell Drive NW.

Firefighters say the building was fully involved with flames and smoked when they arrived around 10:45 p.m. "Crews encountered propane and other flammable gas bottles exploding in the intense flames," firefighters say.

Multiple vehicles in the area also went up in flames.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
