Fatal fire reported in Mocksville on Sunday; Rowan firefighters assisted

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - One person died in a house fire in Mocksville on Sunday.
The fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday on Lefler Lane, south of the town of Mocksville. Along with local departments, firefighters from the Woodleaf and the Franklin Fire Departments in Rowan County also responded.
Officials have now identified the victim as Robert Hampton, 72.
The fire marshal has ruled out all causes except electrical. Crews are still looking into the home's electrical system.
