Two people injured when car overturns on SB I-77

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - At least two people were injured in a traffic accident involving an overturned vehicle on I-77 Monday.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on southbound I-77 near Brookshire Boulevard, which is Exit 11. Medic said two people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
The patients' names have not been released.
From WBTV's Sky3, a single sedan could be seen overturned in the left lanes.
Police have not said what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
