Fort Mill apartment fire displaces eight families

FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) - Eight families were displaced in an apartment fire in Fort Mill Monday night.
It happened at the apartments on Starnes Point Court.
The American Red Cross is assisting 20 people by providing financial assistance for food, clothing, temporary lodging and other essentials.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
