CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The goal is ambitious, there's no doubt. Sixteen-year-old Becca Stuck plans to wakeboard in all 50 states in just 21 days.

Stuck and her parents set out July 9 for an attempt at the fastest time to wakeboard in 50 states.

"We're going to drive to all the continental states and then fly to Alaska and Hawaii," Stuck said.

The idea came as part of completing a bucket list of simply traveling to all 50 states, but Stuck wanted to do more. The rising high school Junior has only been wakeboarding a few years but decided it would be cool to try it in one lake in each state.

"The 21 days part is just because that's as much time as my Dad could get off of work," Stuck said.

While planning the trip, Stuck and her family decided they'd make the trip work for a good cause too. They plan to donate 50% of their fundraising proceeds to "Wake the World," which is a group that helps underprivileged or special needs people take part in watersports.

"My friends all think I'm crazy," Stuck said of her goal. But you can bet none of her friends will be able to head back to school in August and have quite the adventure she will.

Stuck has a GoFundMe page set up to help raise money for her journey and for Wake the World. For more information click HERE.
