Overturned tractor-trailer closes highway, injures driver

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A driver was injured after their tractor-trailer overturned on Interstate 485 Monday afternoon, shutting the inner loop down in both directions.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. on I-485 inner at Interstate 77 north and southbound.
Medic took the driver to the hospital with minor injuries.
There's no word on what caused the accident or when the roadway is expected to be reopened.
