One shot in northwest Charlotte, police say

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - At least one person was taken to the hospital after being shot in northwest Charlotte Thursday.
The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. on Tuckaseegee Road near Glenwood Drive. Police confirmed that one person was shot, but did not give further details.
Medic said that the victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the shooting or if anyone has been taken into custody.
