CRAMERTON, NC (WBTV) - Police in Cramerton investigating the disappearance of a 14-year-old girl they say could be heading to Arizona with a former boyfriend.

Haley Porter was last seen leaving Stuart Cramer High School in Cramerton around 3 p.m. on Monday. Her mother notified police after Porter didn't come home.

Police say Porter is believed to have left the school and met with a former boyfriend, 18-year-old Francisco Jaramillo Vazquez. The two are believed to be traveling to Arizona in a red, 4-door 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier with NC license plate number DAE-1845.

Cramerton Police, after consultation with the Gaston County District Attorney, obtained warrants on Vazquez for kidnapping. Cramerton Police Chief, Greg Ratchford, explained that "although Porter may have met and left with Vazquez consensually, the fact that she is underage and did not have her parent's consent led to the charges being filed."

Both Porter and Vazquez were entered as wanted persons thorough the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Anyone with information on the couple's whereabouts are asked to contact the Cramerton Police Department at 704-824-7964 or 704-866-3300, by email at administration@cramerton.org, or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST or 1-800-843-5678.
