CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - The suspect wanted in a deadly Shelby shooting turned himself in to authorities Wednesday afternoon, according to the Shelby Police Department.

Calvin O'Brian Moore, 28, was arrested and booked into the Cleveland County jail. He is facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon in the shooting death of 37-year-old Timothy Lamont Goodlett.

Police responded to the shooting just after 9 p.m. Tuesday on Truman Street. When they arrived, they received another call to the corner of Buffalo and Weathers Street. They found Goodlett in the yard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center where he later died.
