LENOIR, NC (WBTV) - The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office says a suspected drug dealer is now behind bars. After arresting him, officials say they found 24 handguns, drugs, and cash in his Lenoir home.
In an investigation between the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, the Lenoir Police Department, and NCSBI, Michael Clarence Hood was arrested and charged with felony drug violations Wednesday morning.
Hood sold drugs to undercover Ice Agents several times during the investigation, according to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.
Wednesday, Hood and another individual were taken into custody. The agencies say they found oxycodone, crack cocaine, and powder cocaine while executing a search warrant on his Cottrell Hill Road home in Lenoir.
After searching the house, agents say they seized drugs, $4,000 in cash, and 24 handguns.
