Three-alarm fire breaks out at south Charlotte lighting store

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A fire broke out at a lighting store in south Charlotte early Thursday morning, according to fire officials.

Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire at the Light Fixture Outlet in the 4600 block of Nations Crossing Road. The fire started around 3 a.m. and was quickly upgraded to a three-alarm fire.

Officials are working to find out what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross says they provided relief assistance to more than 70 firefighters on scene.
