Storage building destroyed in fire

GASTONIA, NC (WBTV) - According to Crowder's Mountain Fire and Rescue, a storage building was destroyed in a Wednesday morning fire.

Officials say the building in the 4200 block of Grier Street in Gastonia was fully engulfed when crews arrived around 3:15 a.m.

Crews say it took 6 people about 15 minutes to put the fire out.

Both Crowder's Mountain Fire and Rescue and Union Road Fire Department were on scene.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Gaston County Investigations Task Force.
