CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is still investigating after a car was stolen from an AmeriPark Valet Service lot at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
No arrests had been made as of Thursday afternoon.
Charlotte Douglas International Airport has issued the following statement:
"The incident remains an ongoing investigation. The Airport continues to work with the customer and law enforcement during this process."
AmeriPark Valet Service offered no comment Thursday, but WBTV did learn more about the company.
Employees must pass a criminal background check, a pre-employment drug screening, an AmeriPark driving test and must hold a valid driver's license in the state of application with a clean driving record.
When WBTV checked with the Better Business Bureau, we did not find an official rating for the Charlotte AmeriPark branch. However, the Atlanta branch scored a C- for unresolved customer complaints.
Better Business Bureau President and CEO Tom Bartholomy tells WBTV, while no formal complaints have been filed against AmeriPark Valet Service in Charlotte, his office has received calls from customers complaining about their service.
