CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Firefighters responded Wednesday night to a fire at a northeast Charlotte business.
The fire broke out at an auto body shop on the 3200 block of N Tryon Street just before 9 p.m.
Firefighters say that the smoke was so heavy that a firefighter was actually thought to be missing for a moment, and a PAR was activated until he was located. That firefighter was not injured.
Tryon Street was closed around the scene while firefighters battled the blaze.
Officials have not said what may have caused the fire, but did say that no injuries were reported.
