Police: 3 arrested after 'heinous' pictures involving children found

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Three men were arrested on child sex charges after three separate investigations into child pornography.
Larry Trevathan, 56, Donald Veazie, 70, and John Winterton, 42, were all arrested on Wednesday.
Detectives say the arrests came at the end of three separate investigations that were launched months ago, and that all three men were in possession of child sexual abuse images.
The images, investigators said, were "heinous in nature, and all involved children."
Trevathan and Veazie were each charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Winterton was charged with four counts of the same charge.
Police are asking anyone with additional information on the cases or the men arrested to call Crimestoppers at 704-334-1600.
