LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) - A Lancaster man has been charged in the shooting death of his girlfriend on Monday evening.

Tanner Crolley, 18, of Lancaster, is charged with murder, according to the news release from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were dispatched to a home on the 1400 block of John Everall Road in Lancaster for a shooting call around 10:10 p.m.

They found 18-year-old Sierra Landry dead in the front yard, according to the release.

Detectives say Crolley left the scene on foot. They arrested him about three hours later near the intersection of John Everall Road and Highway 200.

Crolley was jailed at the Lancaster County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing.

Investigators say that Crolley and Landry were in a relationship and had been arguing outside the residence on John Everall Road when Crolley shot Landry.
