CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A Charlotte boy died Tuesday night after a long battle with neuroblastoma. Grier Christenbury was diagnosed with the Stage IV cancer at the age of 2-and-a-half.  He fought for nearly seven years.

No arrangements are set at this time.

Much of the community followed Grier's heroic battle.  WBTV did multiple stories with him and his mom, Amy Christenbury.  She's one of the organizers for "Cookes for Kids' Cancer" in the Charlotte-area, a non-profit that helps raise money for pediatric cancer research.
