Charlotte school closed Friday due to strange odor, firefighters say

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Officials at Charlotte Secondary School have closed the school for the day due to an undetermined odor inside the school.

Firefighters were called to the school Friday morning on the 8600 block of McAlpine Park Drive to investigate an odor, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.

Investigators have not been able to determine what the cause of the odor is.

The school is a public charter school serving grade sixth, seventh and eighth.
