Man dies in industrial accident in Lincoln County

LINCOLNTON, NC (WBTV) - A Lincolnton man died in an industrial accident Saturday.
Investigators said 35-year-old Marendonio Francisco Lopez of Grazing Meadows Court suffered traumatic injuries when he was caught in a Holzman Angular saw.
Lopez was operating the saw at RSI Plant #2 at 838 Lincoln County Parkway. RSI is a local cabinet manufacturer.
Lopez died at the hospital.
Monday morning, investigators said Lopez had worked at the plant for about eight years under an assumed name.
OSHA is investigating.
