CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - The Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team seeks their first NCAA tournament berth since 2009.

The 49ers just notched their 20th win of the season, and are 2nd in the Atlantic 10 conference behind nationally ranked Dayton. They are also currently riding a 9-game win streak.

Charlotte will hit the road tomorrow for U-Mass, as 3 of their last 4 games of the season, are on the road. Coach Cara Consuegra expects her team to really start to peak in these final two weeks of the season.

Consuegra: "Our goal is to play our best basketball in March, and I still believe our best basketball is coming. We are getting better every game and every week. I do not think that we have put together 40 minutes yet of what we are actually capable of, I think we are close and our team knows that. We are excited about how we can finish this season".
