The auditions won't be held until Tuesday but about a thousand people were already in line by 4:00 a.m. Sunday waiting for the chance to sing their way to stardom on "American Idol".

A big line around Time Warner Cable arena in Uptown could cause some major traffic problems through Tuesday afternoon.
American Idol has started pre-registration for auditions for next season's show.
Organizers estimate as many as 15,000 people may be in uptown for the auditions by Tuesday, so drivers are advised to avoid area around the arena unless you have no choice.
