Man was peeping in on girl's dressing room at Target, police say

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (WBTV) - Huntersville Police arrested a man accused of taking pictures of a 12 year old girl in the dressing room of a local Target.

Police arrested Robert Lee Miller, 33, Monday afternoon and charged him with one misdemeanor count of Secret Peeping. He was transported and booked into the Mecklenburg County Jail late Monday.

Authorities say the incident happened last Wednesday around 7 p.m. at the Target on Sam Furr Road in Huntersville. Surveillance video apparently shows Miller putting his cell phone over the barrier in the dressing room, and taking pictures or video of the girl.

"I go in there all the time just trying on clothes and wouldn't want that ever to happen to me," said shopper Ashley Phillips.

Authorities arrested Miller inside his Mooresville home, with the assistance of the Rowan County Sheriff's Department.

"I took an oath to protect the citizens of Huntersville and we want to make sure that we're protecting them," said Lt. Kevin Johnston with the Huntersville Police Department

Johnston says that Miller was also using his cell phone to take pictures or video up a woman's skirt, as she walked up and down the aisle. Police are trying locate her for more information.
