Police in search of Apple store employee who stole 25 iPhones

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they're searching for an employee of the Apple Store at Northlake Mall who stole 25 iPhones worth over $16,000.

According to a police report, the person had access to a storage room at the store and stole the phones over a period of a month and a half, between December 1st and January 11th.

An employee reported the thefts through the police department's online crime reporting system.
