MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities in Murfreesboro, Tenn., say a North Carolina man is charged with stealing an ambulance valued at $120,000.
Rutherford County sheriff's deputies said Monday that 55-year-old Bruce Howard Burdick of Morganton, N.C., was arrested early Sunday after he exited off Interstate 24.
Authorities said the vehicle had just been stolen from the Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. The arrest report did not say how the keys were obtained.
Burdick is facing two felony charges including theft of property and evading arrest. He was released on $20,000 bond and has a court hearing set for July 20.
