CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - We've all had one. The boss from you-know-where. Do you log on to complain about him or her? In this day and age, chances are...you have.

Well, career coaches say that is the last thing you want to do.

Business consultant Steve Tobak who blogs for bnet.com says the solution is simple: don't do it.

"At the end of the day, he is going to win out," said Tobak.

It might be hard to hear but Tobak says every employee has a choice.

"You can quit, I mean, it's that simple," he said.

Tobak along with Dana Glasgo, a career coach, says in most cases you need to suck it up and be professional.

"As an employee, you need to work with your boss to make him or her look good and to make him or her reach his or her goals," said Glasgo.

And if you can't quit your job?

"Communicate, communicate, communicate," said Glasgo. "He or she is just a regular person, just like you with their own perspective on things and they're just trying to get along themselves, they've got bosses too."

Experts recommend meeting privately with your boss, diffusing the emotional content of the disagreement and explaining your perspective.

It also helps to remember that your boss has a boss and he or she could be having the same problems with management.
