Fort Mill High dismissed early due to bomb threat

FORT MILL, SC (WBTV) - Fort Mill High School dismissed class early Monday afternoon due to a bomb threat, district officials said.

All after school extra-curricular activities at Fort Mill High have been canceled as well.

According to the school district's website, parents can pick-up students at the stadium, while walkers and car drivers are being allowed to return home.

Buses are also taking FMHS students home and the district said it hoped to maintain regular bus schedules for all other schools.

Fort Mill Police and other law enforcement agencies say a thorough search of the building could take several hours.
