SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina toddler has drowned in a goldfish pond at a family member's home.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Friday that 18-month-old Logan Holladay died Thursday evening at a Summerville hospital.
Dorchester County Capt. James Nettles called it a "tragic accident."
Nettles said the toddler and his mother were visiting family members at the home near Jedburg. Half a dozen people were in the area with the child when, after a few minutes, they realized he had disappeared.
The boy was found floating in a goldfish pond and taken to the hospital.
