A WBTV hidden camera investigation went inside a seminar hosted by a local medical clinic advertising stem cell treatment to prospective patients and found a sales pitch one local doctor said was misleading.
Construction work that would require lane closures along major highways will be suspended by the N.C. Department of Transportation from Friday, Dec. 20 to Thursday, Jan. 2 to accommodate travelers for Christmas and New Year’s Day, according to an advisory from NC DOT.
Police say they found 22-year-old Alexandria Leigh McNeely dead inside a car in a parking lot on Brawley School Road in December 2017. McNeely had purchased drugs containing fentanyl from Justin Wayne Kauffman, police say.
Landis Darnell Glaspy, 48, snatched a woman out of the first vehicle that stopped on Monday and then drove off in her car, according to a press release. It happened on Interstate 77, about 65 miles north of Charlotte, officials said.
