A person shot and killed inside a restaurant in southwest Charlotte Wednesday night has been identified by police as 37-year-old Juan Velazquez Hernandez, who was reportedly working at the restaurant for a separate business at the time.
Mecklenburg County District Court Judge Aretha Blake has not entered orders in 52 family court cases she heard in 2017, meaning those families are left without decisions on matters including child custody and child support. Blake won't answer questions about why she hasn't entered orders.
