Before coming to Charlotte, Lileana was an evening reporter at sister station WOWT in Omaha, Nebraska. There she covered historic flooding, storms, the 2020 Iowa caucus, and several presidential visits.

Before spending two years in the Heartland, Lileana was a reporter for sister station WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky. While working in her home state, she was a general assignment reporter covering breaking news, courts, and UK basketball fans.

Lileana has lived coast-to-coast but did most of her growing up in south-central Kentucky, where she calls home. She graduated with a BA from Lindsey Wilson College before getting her masters from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
