Bekah Birdsall joins the WBTV weather team from WDEF in Chattanooga, TN where she has spent the last two and a half years as a meteorologist and reporter.
During her time at WDEF, she had the opportunity to tell the stories of tornado victims during the severe weather outbreak of April 2020 when an EF-3 tornado came through Chattanooga. She also knows how complicated mountain forecasting can be and is ready to bring her skills to WBTV.
Bekah was born and raised in Texas growing up in San Antonio, the city with the best tacos. While getting her degree in atmospheric sciences at Texas A&M University, Bekah completed two internships in Bryan/College Station at KBTX and Fox 26 Houston.
Most of Bekah’s free time goes towards making sure her dog Ralph is living his best life. When Ralph is happy, Bekah is most likely checking out new restaurants, reading on a patio, or cheering on Aggie sports and Dallas Cowboys football.
