$14K reward available decade after 19-year-old murdered at Huntersville apartment

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - The search for information about the murder of a 19-year-old in northern Mecklenburg County remains active 10 years after the young man’s death.

The Huntersville Police Department said Peter Jordan was shot and killed at the Landings at Northcross Apartments on Feb. 19, 2014.

Police are calling the investigation a cold case and are continuing to ask the community for help.

A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jordan’s killer is up to $14,000.

In the hours following the shooting, witnesses said they saw a man jump out of a car and begin firing. Police could not confirm those reports, but did say they were looking for several suspects.
