Police: Woman killed in motorcycle crash at Rock Hill intersection

ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A woman died after her motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Rock Hill on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened at the intersection of Celanese Road and Mount Gallant Road just after 6:30 p.m., the Rock Hill Police Department said.

Police said the 49-year-old woman was traveling north on Celanese Road when a Toyota Tundra turned left in front of her. The two vehicles collided, leaving the woman with serious injuries.

She was taken to Piedmont Medical Center where she later died.

Officials have not yet released the woman’s name.

Rock Hill Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
